These terms govern your use of Signable, the AI proposal generator operated by Techwarelab. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service
Signable takes material you provide — a short brief, documents such as PDF, DOC or DOCX files, or a call recording in MP3, WAV or M4A — and drafts a business proposal from it, including the executive summary, goals, scope of work, deliverables, timeline and milestones, team and budget, along with the accompanying diagrams.
Paid plans also include Doc Chat, which summarises a document you upload and answers questions about it using only that document.
We improve and change the service over time. Features may be added, altered or withdrawn, and plan limits may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect a paid plan.
2. Your account
You can sign up with an email address verified by a one-time code, or sign in with Google or Microsoft. You must be able to form a binding contract and must give accurate registration details.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by team members you invite, and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
If you use Signable on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
3. Plans, trials and billing
We offer a free plan and a time-limited free trial, alongside paid plans billed monthly or annually. Each plan sets its own limits — for example the number of proposals per month, AI section regenerations, team seats, templates, uploads per proposal and Doc Chat usage — and removal of the watermark applied to free-plan PDFs.
Current plan names, prices and limits are those shown in the app at the time you subscribe. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, and fees are charged to the payment method you save with our payment processor.
Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
4. Your content
Everything you upload or type — briefs, documents, recordings, client details and the proposals produced from them — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that material for the sole purpose of operating the service for you: storing it, transcribing audio, extracting requirements, generating and regenerating sections, producing PDFs and delivering them to the recipients you choose.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, including any recording of a call. Recording a conversation may require the consent of everyone on it; obtaining that consent is your responsibility.
5. AI output and your review
Signable drafts from the information you provide and does not invent facts to fill gaps; where a detail was never supplied, the field is flagged rather than guessed.
Even so, generated text is a draft. You are responsible for reviewing and editing every proposal — including scope, dates, figures and any commitments it contains — before it reaches a client. A proposal you send is your document, not ours.
Doc Chat answers are drawn from the document you uploaded and are a reading aid, not professional, legal or financial advice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload material you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights
- use the service to produce misleading, fraudulent or unlawful documents
- attempt to access other customers' data, or to probe, scan or disrupt the service
- resell, sublicense or share seats outside the limits of your plan
- reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing product
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful or harmful
7. Our intellectual property
The Signable software, templates, brand and interface belong to us and our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service on your plan, and nothing more.
Feedback you send us is welcome, and we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Third-party services
We rely on third parties to run the service — cloud hosting, AI model providers, transcription, email delivery and payment processing. Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what the law requires of us.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Signable and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if your payment fails, or if we must do so to protect the service or other customers. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
After termination we delete or de-identify your content in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you close your account.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, that transcription will be perfect, or that a generated draft will suit a particular purpose without your review.
To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data arising from the service.
Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses arising from your misuse of the service, from content you upload that you had no right to use, or from a proposal you sent to a client.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law change. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Signable after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction. [Placeholder — confirm the governing law and venue with counsel.]
